They said it pretty openly early on most people who were crashing didn't play with updated drivers.

I'm using old, stable and reliable drivers. New drivers are always ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

With 40ish hours of playetime i've had 1 crash in total, which happened today. Playing with an outdated driver.

I have even older driver than OP and I haven't crashed a single time. Pushing blame on drivers is just blame shifting in most cases. There is a reason why every patch there is a massive list of crash fixes. Like really, trusting NVIDA when their drivers are a miss more often than a hit is a mistake.

If you enable experimental drivers sure, but who actually does that :U

I have played for a few hours on the new 545.xx drivers and no crashes. to be fair haven't had any crashes since launch. I did notice the game didn't do its usual shader compilation check when a new driver is installed so going back to past areas has been a stuttery mess. Clears up within a few minutes though but still. I don't think it is purely drivers fault.

They like to say that drivers are stable even when they aren't.
