Pieta sword is good but it only does radiance damage. Zero physical damage. Some enemies are resistant to that damage type but it still does a lot of damage. It's fast and has a long reach plus it does these little explosions every few hits.

There is a holy version of the fallen lord's sword, it's called JUSTICE!, but you get it way later and completely out of the way of your normal path haha.

I have two hushed saints halberds. It's a solid weapon and plays a lot like the hunters axe from bloodborne. There are better weapons but it's very good. They are my mains for this playthrough, along with hushed saints shield.

I'm using the "Sword of skin and Tooth", it is broken 'cause to +10 it has A+ in strenght, very good for builds based on it. I've 43 leveles in strenght, and it is broken in pvp and pve. Set enemies on fire very easy. This is a weapon that must be used alone, so u can't use shields or other weapons, this is caused by its excessive weight (42 if I remember correctly). Its moveset is very cool and it has a long action-range, in pvp u you can catch very easily the player's hitbox. the nice thing about this weapon is that it only requires strength and nothing else, plus it applies two different status effects. One applies it over time by setting the enemy on fire, and the other is added to physical damage. Plus you can apply any type of buff to the weapon. U can apply more fire damage, more burn, ice ecc... But i suggest you to apply whitering, 'cause it's broken with the fire that damages the enemy over time. In conclusion, I feel very comfortable with this weapon because it adapts to my style of play, but if you are a player who likes to use fast weapons, I don't recommend it to you. Personally, I'm very familiar with his animation, and I know its animation time, so for me it's excellent.

I rather like the Vanguard Barros' Sword. It does a fair mix of Wither and Phys damage, it scales really well with both Agi and Str, and it looks pretty good too.

I see alot of people with Pieta's sword, which makes sense. Early access, pure holy, which is easily the best damage type, and longer than normal reach for a short sword. Good attack speed, nice combo, smite build up is useful to break poise quicker. Since it scales with pure radiance, you can also do a caster with it, and have healing, MORE holy damage with a buff, and ranged attacks that do decent damage. No Str/Agi required. Plus, its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lightsaber.

Oh, also, apparently rememberances reset after a while(I think based on story progress), so you can pick up a second one and dual wield.

Rosamund's Sword is fantastic. Phis/Wither + frost add amulet and ring that enhances wither damage, second ring for frost + umbral magic and you are a beast.

Anything with frost buildup is OP, even on frost enemies, even bosses.

Good for you but meta is meta. Skill > Meta

I used Justice +10 grand sword two handed which was doing with holy weapon buff with 50 STR about 1200 damage with light attack in Bramis Castle (charged heavy did about 1800).

I also tried dual wield two grand swords of Luminous Abiding defender sword +10 and Ebonlight Abiding defender swords +10, luminous has bleed proc and phys, holy damage and ebonlight has phys, wither damage, bleed and frostbite procs.

Problem dual wielding heavy weapon is that you lose stagger and you got really slow swing speed meaning every encounter with tougher elite enemies turns in beating match where you trade hits with enemy because slow attack speed you cannot dodge before getting hit and dual wield you lose stagger of two handing a weapon.

Heavy weapon dual wield clears chaff enemies really fast but struggles against tougher elites because the slow attack speed and lack of stagger vs two handed.
