Searing Accusation BUG? Help?

I just popped the statue that has the searing accusation in it (for the prisoner quest line) and the Co-op popped loading me into the hosts world at the same time. When I came back the statue no longer can be interacted with and my loot is no where to be seen (not in inventory).

Is there a way to roll back my game or some other way to get the item back (besides NG)? Or is my play through bricked. Really wanted the an item from the quest line for a build.
