Why FromSoftware Multiplayer Works Well (Feedback for the devs)
Don't get me wrong; I've been enjoying the heck out of this game! So thank you for that!

That said, I have been mulling over some things the last few days, that I think bears mentioning here.

The current state of multiplayer could use some tuning.
An example of that is the current queue system; When I queue up for coop, I shouldn't be able to join players in places I haven't discovered yet. *Unless I'm directly joining a friend that is* - That is because it then becomes very spoiler'ish for me; Seeing places and bosses that I haven't even seen yet...sucking the magic out of that initial discovery.

On the front of getting invaded; I'm all for it - However there should be precursors for that happening; For instances, in Dark Souls 3, you'd be open to getting invaded after defeating a boss, or in Elden Ring, you'd have to make yourself open to it, or just being in coop; And then after dying, you'd be closed off to those invasions until completing those aforementioned tasks again;

There are others...but these are the two major ones that come to mind.

I mentioned both of these things, as it currently feels like there is no rhyme or reason to it...
My hope, with this post, is that we take that into consideration and refine the multiplayer experience a bit more.

That said, thanks for all the hard work; These daily patches (sometimes more) are noticed and appreciated!

My point exactly; Totally removes that mystery and excitement for discovering that area for the first time, and learning the boss mechanics. If you go into that area moving forward, you already know where the enemy mobs are, where the save/seed bed areas are, where the loot is, and how the boss works...

I really hope they consider this... I'm not just griping for the sake of griping; This is the type of thing that gives multiplayer longevity and first time experience mystery to this game; And it's so obviously deserving of all that love and then some. This is a gem of a game.

Yeah, I wanted to farm the co-op items but I keep getting put in places that I haven't been in before because the game refuses to keep you in only discovered areas.

i have enough with the good netcode the game has.I tested coop and arena on elden ring and it was a laggy mess , you literally get hit 2 feet away from the weapons and everything feels floaty , like if you were fighting a ghost.
On the other hand on LoTF , the other player on PVP felt just like an normal enemy , 0 lag.

yes , that is really bad , and it may be the main cause of why most of the people are not invading.

They should just make your current location vistage/seed wise the primary co-op location it looks for. I don't care if I am lvl 80 and the game scales me down to lvl 20, i'd prefer to fight bosses I know of please

For me it's that you can be thrown into a boss fight many levels above you and disappoint your partner. Twice I have REALLY tried to help fight a boss that was clearly out of my scope and I was ejected after a few frustrating failures.

I think it should match people along your level, but I digress.

Another thing is it would be nice to have a summon sign/ summon pool outside boss doors. Sometimes I don't want to help randos though the level, I just want to fight the boss again.

Yeah I got summoned a few times to go through the entire level only for the host to want to stop after trying the boss once for the night. Ended up spending 30 minutes for no co-op reward.
