Game is not creating save files

I don't mean the saves are being Corrupted, I mean the files are not being made, I've looked all through my file browser and even looked up where the save files are supposed to be but there is nothing. This game is pretty fun but I'm not gonna one shot the game just to beat it and sadly I can't refund it because I played it for too long before finding out about this issue so I'm kinda just SoL

Sounds like maybe a permissions bug. The game doesn't have the right to read & write files at the desired location. Or maybe try running it as administrator, there are two exes one in the base directory & another within the binaries folder. Set both file's properties to run as admin.

Thank you, this seems to have fixed the issue. I had never really had this problem before so I had zero idea of how to even look into it
