I finally after 9hours beat PIETA..!!!

I finally beat that stupid first boss... Well.. turns out when you beat her you get achievement.
What does that say? Well it says only 60% of beat her!

Means there are a lot of sad pepes that are stuck with idiotic dev vision.

What i learned:
+ shields are fake...at least versus her... dodging is how i beat her...

+ the summon helper is useless because at least until today he would die instantly, there today somehow he become much tankier.

+ game runs like hot garbage.. I have 4090 and i assumed i ran at 120fps because "but starfield badly optimised"... i dont use rivatuner anymore to make games more stable(just in case).. turns out this game ran at 60fps when i enabled steam overlay to check fps.. lmao what a JOKE. Worst game optimisation in a long time.

even keybinds resets when you launch the game... lmao..

UPDATE: Majority of time i spent leveling up. If you read, when i beat her at lvl 30.. thats a lot of grind. After i decided to ditch the shield i beat her in 4tries. Sad, because i want to roleplay as shield tank.. Seems thats just terrible idea and shields are useless when boss hits like a truck.

i can try post additions here but i doubt many reads.

Im level 30btw... lmao... yep lvl 30 just to beat first boss.. partially fight felt laggy but i assumed it was made by potato devs for "cinematic" reasons... but even at 120fps when i reduced all settings - the game still has CHOPY animations and lagy keybinds.

wasted money on a 4090. i have a 1660 and it runs smooth as butter and still looks fine. beat her when i was level 20 and now im level 92

you can certainly block, but only do so for the last hit of her combo. most of the time you can't block chain combos since you will just run out of stamina. Single hits and slow bosses are actually worth blocking since you can just heal back after that.

Tbh if you find pieta hard.. idk what to say about the rest since they are even more cheesier. like 1v2 bosses who swings at you and the other throwing a ♥♥♥♥ load of magic projectiles etc.

took me about 2 hours LOL, she was annoying but once you learned the moves it was better (i had a light build so easier dodges)

alright, let's get some tips out of the way.

• Shields increase the parry window, the heavier your main weapon/shield, the smaller the parry window. This is how you overcome that
  
• Don't attack first, souls games are about being givin' an opening, not making one
  
• Skill issue is not a thing, some people that are veterans struggle against the stupidest of bosses, while a novice doesn't. That's just how it be

As for the performance....Yes there is clearly to many draws and flushes happening at once. The engine is tuned way down and I don't even see lumen. Which is weird.

I didn't miss it, I just don't care. All that means is that 40% either haven't even attempted to beat her, or that they suck ass at soulsgames. Most of them probably refunded and left a bad review about performance before they even got to her.

Similar threads were made about lies of p bosses, 60% is actually pretty high. I think lies had like 5-10% for the first couple bosses a week after release.

Performance wise: Use DLSS and FG and even in UHD you have >100fps all time.
