@Devs NVidia DLSS version and swap-ability

FYI:

DLSS 3.5 v2 has been out for awhile and now 3.5.10 is out, I use DLSS swapper which basically allows me to swap the DLSS DLL for each game I have but that is not possible for LoTF, I think you have your DLSS version hardcoded?

if I swap to 3.5 v2 or 3.5.10 the DLSS option on the settings disappear, please patch it or fix your code so it can be swapped.

i tried to change to the newest nvngx_dlss.dll in folder xxxxsteamxxx\Lords of the Fallen\LOTF2\Plugins\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64 because i saw they use the version 3.1.30 - the games starts but there no menu for dlss in the menu

yeah, that's what DLSS swapper does, is an open source tool that scans the games and check online for latest DLSS

Latest is not necessarily the best one, and it's probably blocked due to EAC.

Bump, there have been improvements made to DLSS, let us update to newer versions, we've only been nagging you about this for ages now. If I use DLSS Swapper to update to 3.7.10.0 DLSS is no longer available in-game.

Since this thread was revived, I have to say we no longer need DLSS, at least not with my 3070ti at 1440p, running DLSS at DLAA (only for anti-aliasing), the game has been optimized so much you don't need upscaling up to 1440p

Well, I need it even on my 9800X3D / RTX 4090 @ 4K. With DLSS at Balance I get a stable 90 fps with everything on Cinematic. But I figured out you can actually swap the DLSS version on the PC Game Pass version.

Tried swapping to 3.10.1.0 from Cyberpunk (DLSS4/Transformer model), DLSS option in menu disappears. Disappointing, in many games I've tried I can basically go from using DLAA previously to DLSS Quality with the new model and it looks better than it did before, on top of the obvious performance gain.

Will have to see how well it plays with the Nvidia app when it updates and allows you to do this officially (currently have to use Nvidia Profile Inspector).

thats because Easy Anti cheat doesnt allow you change Dllss file. Disable EasyAntiCheat and then, use DLSS swapper or change the dlss file.

Yeah easy anti cheat sucks ass, I can even do the dll swapping and dstorage swapping in Diablo 4, on steam anyway, with blizzard app it prolly swapped them back the moment you launched the game.

Since the new update to the Nvidia app, there released a new version of DLSS that is used with the DLSS override. This version includes a new preset K, which improves image quality and stability over Preset J.

Btw: in nvidia inspector preset K is 0x00FFFFFF and DLSS swapper contains newest DLSS 310.2.1 now too... (if someone will to do the job manually)

But be aware, LotF works only trough nvidia override!

The NVIDIA app is able to detect some Game Pass games likes Indiana Jones, but can't detect LOTF so we're unable to use Nvidia Override
