Launch Error: Please close WinDbg before starting the game

Literally can't open game. Played the game for first session yesterday, EAC said this same launch error message on start, so I spent a while figuring out how to turn the debugger off through cmd, was successful and I was able to play the game perfectly fine.

Play it again today after updating drivers as well as game update, EAC saying this message again. Turn of WinDbg in cmd, cmd says it was successful, but EAC is still giving me this message. No idea what to do or how to fix this problem, never had it on any other EAC games and can't find anyone else having this problem unless I'm blind or stupid, both possible

Same thing. After update it keeps saying to close windbg even though it's not running.

"piss" so did you find out how to fix it ? as i did the same turned the debuger of by CMD tool and restarted the pc but still geting that same error when louncging the game

Open CMD as Administrator in windows and type this command into it. "bcdedit -set DEBUG OFF"
