Its alright but I had more fun with Lies of P, it kept me more engaged. Though I can definitely see bigger replay value with lords of the fallen thanks to its character builds where in Lies of P you are kinda stuck with one type of setup and that is it.

Buying which ?

Best way to say this if you enjoyed DS3 more than Bloodborne go with LOTF, but if its the opposite go for Lies of P. LOTF has more exploration build variety and things to discover where Lies of P is more linear and story driven.

Keep in mind LOTF has some performance issue right now so your experience might vary where Lies of P is super stable.

Oddly enough I didn't enjoy any dark souls games. I enjoyed Sekiro, Elden Ring, and Lies of P.

Both games are good, and how they play are pretty diffirent and mechanics.
Lies of P focuses more on parrying, while LOTF is more traditional soulslike combat but with improvements such as Throwables using ammo instead of needing to be purchased constantly, you can also parry most of bosses attacks, but you dont have to.
Guarding also takes Temp health so no matter what shield you can still get back health it's just heavier ones have you take less temp damage and stamina damage.

I Find it more fun then Lies of P, but everyone has their own taste of what they want from a soulslike

Pinocio has good combat and its weapon craft mechanic is a cool idea but i dont like:
1. the anime weeb slash effect in that game.
2. level design is very linear and simple.
3. Timothee chalamet as protagonist.

While everything feel good or at least decent in LOTF. Only bad guy is the performance but it's getting better after recent patches.

I loathe the combat of Sekiro and Lies of P, so its a yes for me. For you it might be different. Also an exploration buff, which this game has. Loving it. Didnt buy Lies of P based on demo

If you are looking for a game more like dark souls/elden ring/demons souls aestetics, this game is better, also if multiplayer is important for you lies of p doesnt have multi. Gameplay could be a bit better on LoP but I liked this game much more than it. I didnt like much of the general level and character designs of LoP

Yes, and no. There are things that make it better/worse. I have played more of this game than lies of P and have had lies of P longer.

yes by far. Lies of P was only a basic Souls nothing more.

Absolutely not. Lords of the Fallen (LotF) is very different experience to Lies of P (LoP) even if they are the same genre.
LoP is focused, lean and story-driven experience with strong focus on combat. Exploration is limited but rewarding despite lack of alternative routs to navigate maps.
LotF has large semi-open world with lots of exploration thanks to its dual-world design. I feel its focus was focused on world exploration and combat is secondary. LotF also uses very obnoxious checkpoint system that creates more frustration and confusion than excitement or suspension.

Way better than Lies of P.

One is more like what DSII could've been in some ways. The other is more like Bloodborne. Think if you like the Souls games more, that you'd like this one more. If you like Bloodborne more, probably Lies of P. Lies of P is on GamePass though, and you can get that free right now. Pretty sure it works on PC Cloud and as an install for PC. I wouldn't get this game on Xbox personally judging from what friends are saying. I'm the only one that got it on PC for whatever reason.
