HELP
I have 20 hours in this game and i was in the middle of playing when my pc crashed. When I tried to load back up the continue button was gone. I went to load my game and the file was corrupted. Does this mean I lost my entire progress??? please help!

steam cloud is your only option if it have not overitten it yet with your corrupted one

Oooooh yeah....Personal recommendation, just get someone to rush you through the game. I've seen this happened to a few people and from that point on I manually backup the LOTF saves

Erase your local save file and hope to god Steam has the good version

To download your Saved Games from Steam Cloud, open https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage in your browser and sign into your account. Search for the game you want, then download your saves.

Maybe, hopefully a cloud backup will work. I've been backing up my saves since this issue was first reported.

C:\Users\?\AppData\Local\LOTF2 contains your save. The ? mark is your username or profile name for Windows. I'm not sure where it's being stored if you're not using Windows 11.

You won't get one. Steam is very stingy despite having good reasons once you crossed the 2 hour mark.

Yep already got denied. This is ridiculous and I’m gonna be real there’s no way I want to start everything all over again. This is just awesome
