True, I also did some research on it, it’s legit pay to win. It starts out basically as a lvl 20 (with included trinket) and best looking starting weapon and armor with cloak. It doesn’t bother me at all, aslong as the game is 10/10, I could care less, I see it as a $10 easy mode dlc for Care Bears.
Replayability value comes from new items, new enemies, new movesets for bosses, new locations…
Yes they start with unique everything. Basically like World of Warcraft, the Hero class. So it does give you reason to watch all 3 endings while getting greatly rewarded, especially with hundreds of more hours to lvl up those new classes.
This is looking to replace Elden Ring for sure, atleast until the new ER expansion and ER2.

9 starting classes plus 4 unlockable. Dark Crusader you get during a playthrough and three others you get by getting each ending. The art book also shows off the 3 other classes.

Awesome!!!!! Even better 😎🤩🤩🤩🤩.
Classes are for NG not NG+.
You'll be able to find or buy all the items of every class during the game.
But if the unlocked classes can only be played in NG, and the player can get all of it's starting items during the first gameplay, this takes away the meaning to play them.
That's why they are just meant as starting points.(partially for roleplaying what your character was doing prior to the stat of the game.)
Starting levels:
-Dark Crusader level 14
-Hallowed Knight Level 10
-Udirangr Warwolf level 12
-Partisan level 12
-Mournstead Infantry level 12
-Blackfeather Ranger level 8 (advanced class)
-Exiled Stalker level 10 (advanced class)
-Orian Preacher level 11 (advanced class)
-Pyric Cultist level 10 (advanced class)
-Condemned level 1 (advanced class)
The 1-4 levels early game aren't really going to make much of a difference. You'll have leveled up in the first hours to make up such difference as leveling cost gradually increases with player level.
Especially if you choose to farm.
