Thats right! Im just used to bleed meaning DoT in games :) Thanks.
Is that what it does? I boosted the bleed on Fitzroy's sword but I never noticed the bleed because I expected the bleed itself to cause either burst or DOT damage.
A debuff like that would be pretty good for boss fights.
my understanding is that only physical damage is increased during bleed, not holy, wither, poison, or fire. same with ignite=fire vulnerability, smite=holy vulnerability. If you have a weapon that is half physical half elemental, it is less effective than having a 100% of one damage, as only part of your weapons damage is being boosted when they are bleeding/smited/ignited
