i testing two swords of Pieta and one sword of Pieta, and and it looks like one sword does more damage.

The way dual-wield damage is calculated seems a bit odd. I've noticed it mostly with fist weapons, where if you have one held 'two handed' you actually have one in each hand but each does more damage than when used in one hand. In your case, you'll probably find that one sword held two-handed will do more damage than the dual-wield, but the dual-wield has a wider swing and is better for mob packs. The other advantage, of course, is that you can have more runes which might eventually give dual-wield a DPS edge too.

oh, sorry, bad english. Аre you talking about a two-handed grip or two weapons in the right and left hand?

I did some testing earlier.

With 1 dagger I was doing 120-ish damage. With 2 daggers I was doing 100 damage.

But what you don't notice is that you're doing 2 hits of 100. The hits come so close together that only 1 number shows.

Each hit is weaker, but you hit twice each time. So in reality, I was doing 200 damage

Dual wielding does more damage, For certain

the thing with dual wielding is that often both hits happen so fast that you only see the latest hit damage. Generally, if you see one number when you swing both swords, double that damage. two hand will have stronger single hits but dual wield will get two weaker hits that usualy results in higher damage.

That's the thing, with Fist weapons you can't hold them two-handed. If you have one in your main hand and nothing in the off-hand, you use it one-handed. If you then press the two-hand button, another copy of the weapon appears in the off-hand. However, for the purposes of rings, rune bonuses etc you're counted as using one weapon two-handed when you do this, not dual-wielding.

If you have a Fist weapon in each hand, you can use your main hand weapon on its own, or both weapons together. But if you use the main-hand weapon on it's own it also appears in your off-hand and counts as being used 'two-handed'. This tends to mean that if you dual-wield Fists your damage actually goes down.
