Lightreaper not spawning in Upper Calrath

I think I finally hit a progression bug. I've cleansed four beacons, opened the second door to the arena, Andreas of Ebb is waiting by the door to assist me but when I enter the arena nothing happens, just the big guy with the dogs again and again.
I think it might have happened because I already killed The Iron Wayfarer who (accidentally?) spawned when I tried to open the door to Bramis too early. In some video I watched he's waiting by the shortcut from Upper Calrath to Skyrest Bridge with another Umbral memory next to him - both were missing when I got there.
Or am I missing something? I've made a savegame backup after beating Judge Cleric, so I could go back to that, just want to make sure I don't do that for nothing.

According to every guide I looked up you a) do not have to cleanse any before this fight
b) the last one is only reachable after the fight.

Lightreaper only spawns in the arena when you're forced to enter the area from skyrest bridge. If you're able to access Upper Calrath still from the vestige at the top of the elevator that comes from the Sunless Skein, then you're just missing something. You're likely missing a major boss. Been to the Tower of Penance and to the Fief?

LOL, I did the Tower of Penance, but I never took the elevator to the top to cleanse the beacon. So you CAN reach all beacons before the Lightreaper fight. Thanks!
