Does using VPN to switch to australia not work anymore for extra currency items?

Because their servers are empty. But not anymore when people started to go there with vpn :D

Can someone explain to me why the amount you get is region based? Who gets the most and why? Will it change in terms of seasons like at summer Earopeans get much more than the others and so on?

Guess people should set it to some African country then, probably not too many players there. lol So i guess when the playerbase drops in general, there would be more for everyone?

Hard to say whether or not its automated, or set manually by the developers.

Alright, some countries still work. Just try a few smaller oens out, and boom, all the currency you'd want.

Still works australia, tried now, got 3x150. Maybe how many concurrent players in a region or even a city. Or devs are actively flagging vpn ips.

Items cost more only outside of SEA region. VPN (destkop, not browser) works only if you make sure your ip has changed before you start the game (check from your browser if it has changed), anything else doesn't matter, dunno about save loading aka switching character or going back to main menu, the shop is different anyway, if it ain't then you're not using australian or sea region ip. I've turned off the vpn, the shop remains the same as long.
Will test at some point at what point the game actually tests ip region to set your shrine shops and rewards needed to use it.

Dragon's Dogma Online was similar, you only had to start the game up with the right region, after that you could turn the vpn off.

Did a test, the vpn change matters only when starting the game up, in main menu you can turn it off. The shrine shops change to that region, and remain as so even when loading a character save file with vpn being off.

Edit:
Though yeah to get 150 plucked eyeballs, you need to have vpn on at all times. Or maybe just before resting and till you get the drop.
Edit2: After getting the 3x eyeballs, I switched vpn back on, and used a vengeance item and rested and got then 150x eyeballs.
