Look at the size of the gold item. It's usually bigger then the rest. I got most the moth locations memorize so I just soulflay them now.

When the gold tail looking thing is really wiggly, it has a giant moth in there.

Manually aim your camera to be above the wiggly light and soulflay it to kill it.

It is kinda funny, as the moth is wiggling its bait to get your attention like a angler fish.
