Darksydegold at it again.
-Too many mobs:
There is parts in previous FromSoft games where its the same. Also, just like in From's game's you got all the tools to deal with it and more even in LotF(2023). You didn't even bother to look at your kit. Game is not responsible for your lack of patience and general game sense.

-Bosses are unfun:
I actually agree. They are too easy in this one. I felt the same about Elden Ring and pretty much the vast majority of bosses in every single FromSoft game tend to be "unfun" for various reasons.

-Too little heals:
Too little for you because you, like always, are stubborn even though you know all attacks and movement in this game are deliberate and can't be canceled. You just spam. You always do.

-Using Lantern in combat:
Too complicated for you maybe. Just don't use it in combat then. You're not forced to use it if you are in a bad position. You can solve that issue first and then use it if it's a parasite for example.

-Picking up souls takes 2 seconds:
Picking up souls in most From's game isn't instant either. + They made adjustments that you never got to see. Not only is it quicker now but you're also immune to damage.

-Character momentum throws you off cliffs constantly:
Constantly? Sure, people that panic and/or spam might fly off cliffs constantly. You learn from it and move on. You've flewn off cliffs in From's games too. Just like everyone else.

-Bonfire placement too infrequent:
No it's not. And the seed mechanic isn't stupid either. As a matter of fact, there is flowerbeds everywhere, pretty much after every even remotely difficult encounter and not just bosses. You just don't pay attention. You literally never have to corpse run much. Which is something you even criticized some of From's games for. Stop being ridiculous.

-Jumping mechanics are stupid in games with a conditional jump:
Sure. As long as you admit that all previous From games before Elden Ring did the same, sure. Didn't seem to bother you there as much though.

LotF(2023)'s level design is literally DS1's but even improved.
I personally don't mind the mob density at all and I'm not one of those players who's feeling is invoked that you described.
You got all the tools to dispatch everything, even savely. You even mention these tools. As a "roomba-like" player myself, I'm at a loss here.
You might hate how some designs look, I hate how Lies of P looks. The entire setting, everything.
The bosses are mostly disappointing though. I'm with you there. But I felt the same about the vast majority of the bosses in Elden Ring.
Only thing that objectively drags the game down is it's gameplay unrelated performance/technical issues.
So yeah, I don't agree with your review, mostly. :P

Most people tend to not view these types of reviews to get their opinions challenged anyway but rather want their already existing ones validated.
So I'm not surprised by alot of the comments here lol.

faxtralife is a known view botter and scammer, also i noticed all the "reviews" and "praises" are posted all over the store page and screenshots with the store page video, seems like some devs are trying way to hard to make their game sound like a master piece.

Think OP meant top 200 DS streamers, which would make sense because the guy has a cult following. In terms of skill though? He's a standard player, but lacks any real skill outside of what chat tells him to do, like "Most" twitch streamers. His take on games is 50/50 as he is very hypocritical most of the time.

how do you rate dark souls players? top 200 in what exactly? time played? most streamers would be top players in every game they played if that was the sole criteria im guessing there is more to it?

Any game that he can't Faceroll Power through with almost 0 thinking or can't get carried by other people for example his fans is BAD in his opinion and rage quits them most of the time.

His prior experiences also never transitions, even in the same genre and franchise.
Everytime it's like watching baby's first game.
Which makes the delusional ♥♥♥♥ he says in the video even funnier.

If you rely on a single review and reviewer for a game, you do not deserve to play good games, every one has their opinions and they all change depending on their experience. I usually hit up Gameranx for their Before you buys, check steam reviews for game play vs technical issues and then do a few random searches online before I make my decision and while I have made bad purchases, I was never mislead at least.

This must be a joke, right? Having thousand of mindless followers does not make you a good game reviewer. He is just average at games and his opinion is only for entertainment. I'm actually disappointed that he gave up on this game, because he sucks at it and can't force play through it.

FFS I ain't no streamer and I can guarantee that I'd be doing better than him at these games on camera.
SO many times I just roll my eyes just trying to see him play.
