Devs.. so many patches.. still so muchs ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Stutter..
should have refunded when i could. with a RTX 3080Ti 12GB and a I9 9900k i should at least be able to play on high/medium wich at release i could not. it would jump between 20-40-170 fps every second while looking down at the ground doing nothing.

after all the patches.. it never drops below 40 anymore. but it still jumps, and stutters like crazy every second or two..

Fix youre damn game.. its not even as good tbh.. but i at least want to play something for the money you took.

This latest patch definitely did something that has made my own game have little constant micro-freezes or stutter that makes it pretty much unplayable. It's seems completely related to attack animation/effects which makes dodge timing completely inconsistent.

I noticed the stutters really begin for me 2-3 days ago after the patch but I didn't find it nearly as burdensome as whatever they did today.

Similar specs 3080 ti, but a r5950x instead.

Sadly I expected more people to be complaining about it. I really hope it's not some super isolated case that never gets fixed.

same.. man. mostly when atacks or rolls come the stutter comes.. it last like 1 second, but still anoying.. at release day it was unplayable.. caracter creation screen at 15 fps.. starter cave 20-40.. now the cave is 100.. still lagging/stuttering like crazy..

usualy i would have said ♥♥♥♥ off and refunded... but since its my first "souls like" and i wanted to try it out cause it has better graphics... im highly disapointed at both the devs. and myself for not refunding when i could.

but as you, i hope they fix it..
cause lowering my graphics to the absolute lowest Dont fix anything, Same stutter.. not more, not less..
I have a 4090 and still refunded the game for bad performance. This year has been filled with games that released with bad performance on high tier machines.

Finally someone with similar specs and problems
I Have a 3080 + R7 5800x and the the game make me fell that my ryzen didin't have the "power" to performe 60fps constantly what is WEIRD.
When I go to the castle, my RTX uses 60/70% of performance, the CPU 40% and the FPS stucks in 40~45 frames.
Out of the castle, the fps drops from 90/100fps to 30/40fps.

First crash I experienced after latest patch. So far I the only thing that wasn't absolute garbage for me was the performance.

I have a Ryzen 5 5600x + 3070ti, this video helped me a lot, some settings in ultra, some on high and the most taxing ones on medium, please watch it, it is only an 11 mins video, the summarized settings are almost at the end of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DerpTnhDDeU
I setup MSI AfterBurner after I put these settings and saw a more consistent performance after it.

i will try to watch it. though my issue is mostly stutter. in the beginning of release the fps was jumping from 10-20-70-160-40 back and forth when i was just standing still looking straight down or up... i mean if you have a ♥♥♥♥ pc it stays ♥♥♥♥.. it wont jump from 30 to 150 and back down.. after the patches it works alot better. never dips below 60 in the starter cave untill after the first boss that kills you.. then it stats to jump and stutter all over again, and even with everyhing OFF and LOW... there is ZERO difference.. even in areas where the fps is 100 fps constantly,,, it still stutters ...
main menu still stutters aswell .. xD but i will take a look and try it out. <3

if you have stutters then its usually a cpu, ram memory speed thing or harddrive thats to slow

yea sure it is. go hide somewhere. im tired of people that defend lazy developers that cant fix their games before release.

"IF IT WAS MY PC" then explain to me how the hell the game ran at 10-20 fps on release day. and now i got mostly 60-140 fps constantly., i didnt change a thing on my PC except waiting for some patches... still My pc that is weak right?.. where i can play anything on ultra except this game on 1440p.
while youre at it why not run over to Cities skylines 2 on steam and check that forum out..
The developers knew the game was crap before they released CS2, and they released it anyway. their walk round that they themselves dropped on the forums was "dear customers, if you are having issues with the game turn everything low and off."

i dont think people brought that game with a 4090ti card to play on low/off mate.

my pc is not slow.
the game is ♥♥♥♥ optimized and the patches that have arrived is pure proof of it.
the devs even admits that the game runs like garbage hench the reason there has been over 10 patches in 1 week ive never seen a developer send out so many patches so fast.
Tanktyr Oct 26, 2023 @ 5:05am
Well i have zero stutters on a 2080 ti, nvme drive, 13700k and 6000mhz memorys, dont know what to tell you except yeah, ofc they can optimise more, welcome to gaming in 2023, where more then half release have performance problem at launch
Medina_Rico Oct 26, 2023 @ 5:59am
Yeah mine was OK at launch. After a couple of patches it got better, then after that it's just been getting worse with every patch. Mine also almost constantly does the micro stutter freeze randomly after this latest patch.
DEIMOS-X1 Oct 26, 2023 @ 6:07am
Devs need to chill out with the patches every day because they're clearly rushing to fix one thing and breaking other things in the process. Instead they should just release one whole big patch.

You have a better card than me (2080 TI here) and I don't get almost any stutter. So it seems this thing is extremely system specific. You're not running it on a HDD right?

This!

All my games are on my nvme SSD. I think if it was truly a case of hardware being not capable enough I would have always had issues. The massive amount of stuttering I'm personally experiencing was only introduced in this latest patch.
