I'm now strong enough to stay in Umbral indefinitely
NG+, bring a co-op partner in, and go Umbral mode anywhere and everywhere I can. Usually stay in it for about 10 or 15 minutes, whatever puts us to x3.0 multiplier and spawns the red reaper. I like the challenge and all that vigor. Woo-ee.

The red reaper drops a ♥♥♥♥ ton of cheddar. Has anyone defeated the red reaper and stayed in Umbral? What's the next challenge? How high does the multiplier get?

The red reaper will eventually respawn and keep coming. It's a great way to farm

Yeah, I am not even in NG+ made a build, complete it. Now I kill red reapers for fun. Still quite tough, but with regen, mana ring, damage reduction, damage reflect and bless weapon. I proceed to wait for a couple more so I can buy up all the boss equipment.

What is scarlet shadow weak to? Can't find any info on wiki. What element works best against it ?

It would be amazing if the escalation continued with some crazy secret boss at the end. Missed opportunity right there.

Red reaper drops 5 Umbral Scouring that is not much mature cheddar for the effort :steamfacepalm:

It drops 20 +5 on the first kill. It is the only boss that feels like a boss in the entire game. Oh wait... it is not a boss. My bad.
