yeah, hope they will stay the same mostly, I don't mind them adding more space for like 5-15 gb
Would be cool if the devs all around the world start to do it, because I think having different versions of the game with hd textures, 4k textures is good for all. But mostly no one does it nowadays..
Can't say for everyone, but for me it's storage issue. I have a lot of files for my work and study, and music + videos of my gameplay(for memory and translation purposes as a hobby mostly). And also I have a lot of games installed. Would just buy another SSD for 1 TB I think.
Plus, some games are extremely big in size and I don't honestly understand why sometimes. For example Uncharted collection on PC could be little less, like 60 gb may be. My perfect example is Sekiro. While looking pretty nice it's only around 14 gb.
ya it seems 4k textures add a lot of size. For storage even an external ssd works. I did that a lot on my old pc. I dont want to sound like a snob at all. But i dislike when games are made for the lowest end user. Like i fully understand. But it keeps the games closer to console versions. Id prefer normal/console game version at say 60gb as well as 4k at say 100gb. I got a PC for more options. As time goes on seems like we get less of that and more pure crap console ports. I get most people have a 1060 or 2060. So i understand it fully. I just like game like say CP2077. You can set the setting low and play on a 1060 or crank it and need a 4090. For me i have storage on lock. Just made a new pc so i got 3 2tb m.2 drives.
Yes, I would buy one when I have money, right now I will upgrade my PSU and PC case for newer ones, hopefully tomorrow.
games should have different graphic options as you mentioned in CP2077, but nowadays seems like devs want everyone to have 3080 card but the game itself looks bad or port is bad (like Gollum or TLOU at start)
