Q. Is Lords of the Fallen a sequel or a reboot of Lords of the Fallen (2014)?
A. Lords of the Fallen is a full reboot of the original 2014 action-RPG game, Lords of the Fallen (2014), and takes players on an all-new adventure.

As a spiritual successor, it pays homage to the original while also fully modernising and reimagining the franchise, largely in response to fan, media and influencer feedback from the original game.

Taking place in the same universe, Lords of the Fallen is set approximately 1000 years later, and features a fully revised art direction, combat system and narrative design, in a world over five times bigger than that of its predecessor. In addition, it sets an entirely new precedent of production quality across the board, and is being developed by a new in-house team of industry veterans, HEXWORKS.

Q. I’m experiencing performance issues on PC?
A. To help alleviate performance issues on PC, we strongly recommend using the “AUTO-SET” option within the game’s Settings menu under the Graphics tab, which will apply settings that are best suited to your PC configuration and will optimise performance.

We also highly recommend that you update your graphics drivers to the latest version.

A. Yes, you are able to play the entire game with your companion of choice.

Q. Does Lords of the Fallen have character customisation?
A. Yes, you can fully customise your character’s appearance with a wide array of visual options, before selecting one of thirteen character classes.

Q. What languages is Lords of the Fallen localised in?
A. Audio is only available in English. Subtitles and UI text are available in English, French, Italian, Spanish - Spain, Polish, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese - Brazil, Ukrainian, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Q. Can I unlock the Dark Crusader starting class without owning the deluxe edition?
A. Yes, there is a story quest in game that allows all players to unlock the starting class on their next playthrough. Deluxe edition grants instant access.

Q. Is cross-platform supported?
A. Crossplay is available across all platforms.

Q. Is cross-progression supported?
A. Cross-progression is not available for Lords of the Fallen.

Q. Does Lords of the Fallen have a Photomode?
A. Yes, Lords of the Fallen features a 3D Photomode, that allows you to go back and edit captures taken in game.

Q. Do I need a paid subscription to play online?
A. You need PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass Core/Ultimate subscriptions to play online.
