I have unlocked the two new shops, but it will not allow me to unlock items past the first in the cable shop and the quest guy for the new quest line does not show up in my world, nor am I able to find the new ones in my radar.

Just finished the story, was very good. It soon becomes clear what you need to do. Now I resetting my islands to enjoy all the new machines.
