Emilia's Mission

Was Emilia's Mission a prequel or a sequel to the full game? I was just looking at my library and suddenly made the connection between the little worm that says "one day I will be big enough to eat the whole planet" and the giant worm in the mountain that you have to go and convince not to eat the planet as Emilia - is that the same worm? Or are all of those worms just hungry for planets?

When I first found Emilia I wondered if she was injured in her mission and the little dome thing she is in is like a wheel chair but then she just says she is lazy, which made me think I had just overthought it in the first place. But she is the only one who doesn't drop down in a pod with you, so is she already on the planet before you arrive, after completing her previous mission?

The two building that are already there when you arrive is her house and the museum, and since you also don't see Daniel's escape pod, it's safe to assume he was there too.

She was approached by a robed figure at the end of her mission, so I wonder who that person could be... :P

By the way, gifting a pearl to Emilia will give both her skins, so you can either look like her during her mission and her now.
