Building Mechanics - Terrible

The building mechanics especially rooves are terrible. It is impossible to add a roof to my buildings. The available components are useless and its is impossible to make them snap onto existing parts of the structure. I cannot continue as the quest line requires a roof and I have been trying for over an hour IRL and cannot get the roof to line up.

yep, I had to give up and redo the whole house to a simple 3x3 structure. couldn't even rotate the flat veranda roof to line up properly
