I tried to put the chickens in the coop and nothing happened.

I built the coop and bought two different chickens at two different times inside the coop but they did not stay there and I have not idea where they are now. Sometimes one of them is there and the other not. I have never seen them inside together. Trying to clear the quest but I can't till i get them in there? But i did? I don't know what to do.

Did you make sure to buy 2 hens and not 1 hen and 1 rooster?

You have to build the fence around the coop to make sure the stay in the area you want .
