Beginner questions: Do rabbits eat hay? Where to hunt animals, and how to get the fishing rod?

Hey everyone!

I bought the game on Friday and I'm really enjoying it, but I have a few quick beginner questions that I couldn't figure out yet. If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it:

Rabbits: Do rabbits eat hay? I put some hay out for them, but I'm not sure if that's what they eat or if I need to feed them something else.

Hunting: Where is the best place to hunt animals on the map?

Fishing Rod: Where and how do I get the first fishing rod in the game?

Wild guess here .. It'll come in a later update ( waiting for a dev answer ) atm we have juuust enough content to go past the 2hrs landmark so we cant get refunded

Hello,

If you check the rabbits information card it will tell you which items you can feed them, some animals can only eat one thing and some can eat a variety.

Hunting areas are being worked on currently and will be added in a future update and the fishing mechanic may come alongside it or slightly later. But nothing is set in stone and things could come sooner or later depending on player feedback as we wish to stay flexible so we can build the game around the community.

You can follow the progress of all current and planned mechanics on the Roadmap[open.codecks.io] It's a live roadmap so it will update whenever the developer makes any changes/starts/finishes the feature cards etc.
