Missing seed

I had at least 80 strawberries planted and fertilized. I slept to go to next day, now they are all gone. It is a lot of wasted time and money.

I went to rebuy strawberry seeds, they are no longer available. There are new seeds to plant, which is great, but I don't want to lose my whole harvest over new seeds unlocking. Turns out I had 118 strawberry plants that went poof.......

So I had two strawberry seeds left so planted them along with the new seeds, poof strawberries gone after sleeping but the new plants stayed.

Seeds can only be bought and grown in the correct seasons for them, that information is listed on the seeds information card.
If you plant them out of season they will just disappear, if you plant them in the right season but their growth time goes into the next season they also won't grow.

1. This game makes plants disappear once their season is over (so if you had spring crops that don't work in summer they'll go poof).

2. Also, not sure if you guys have put up scarecrows, birds will eat your seeds.

(those are two things to check that might look like bugs if you didn't know the mechanics).
