Kid-friendly?
Hey guys,

Is the game kid-friendly for a 9-10-yr-old? I'm a grandpa who buys games for my grandson, but I try to steer away from things with adult language or themes, if I can.

Hello,

So I can confirm that there is no adult language in the game.

There is a life and death cycle for the animals you raise, a marriage system, including having children of your own, a crime system (for example, if you steal you will earn crime points and you can be fined and/or have the police come and take you to jail to complete a sentence), an in game casino, a hunting system and a dungeon system where you fight monsters/creatures, you can however turn blood effects off.

I hope this helps you make a more informed decision :)
Instead of a new topic I wanted to piggy back on this. I want to know if any LGBT content is avoidable if you do not pursue it and if there is any of that pronoun nonsense in it? I just don't want my kids to be exposed to that at all till they are older

Are the above features in the early access version? or are many of these things going to be not available yet until full release? A lot of these type of games often say they are going to add similar systems (say having children) and then never do so just want to check before purchasing. Game looks awesome by the way.

Not everything will be in from day 1, Early Access by definition means you are getting access to an unfinished game that is still being developed, but you can follow the Roadmap[open.codecks.io] to see what is being worked on and when, it's a live roadmap so it will update whenever the developer starts/finishes/updates the feature cards.

It sure did, and I appreciate your help. I don't understand why crime needs to be part of an otherwise wholesome game, but I guess it's just a sign 'o the times.

So far I have confirmed there is same sex relationships. But it sounds optional, so avoidable. But not a good sign that its kid friendly.

Other then the personal choice of opting to romance an NPC of the same gender, everything is avoidable.
