I cannot recall this game that is like Caravaneer

Recently I came across Caravaneer and it looks great but a few months back I discovered a game that's very much like it and lost links to it and forgot its name.

It was set in the late 1800's early 1900's. It was isometric and turn/squad based. It contained weapons like the old french lebel rifle. It had a vibe much like Caravaneer. Does anyone know of this game and its name?

Burntime (1993), Fallout: a lot in common, Dust to the end. But none in that timeset.

No its some indie game in developement, I've totally lost the links. you had an xcom style isometeric combat aspect thats turn based plus the ability to take towns, set up production of food, weapons, trade, etc. Very steampunkish.

Yeah I remember it called 97 or something. It was a 2 digit number followed by a word. I presume the number probably put the game in that time. (probably 1897) If it had not been for a computer crash and reinstalling an os I would still have a link to the page and the demo of the game. The game was totally like Caravaneer. It had all of its features but the combat was turn based and much like classic xcom games. Very good graphics. The weapons were turn of century.. Lebel rifles, french and nagant revolvers, browning 1903's. It was cool too because when the rifle expended some or all of its ammo, the soldier had to load rounds individually to top off the magazine or stripper which was realistic for that time. When you liberated areas you could set up factories, bases, trade, etc


It is not on steam. I think I might of found it on some russian indie game site. I guess Ill find it if i dig enough.
