question about cheat engine

I was curious about what exactly you can do with industries and wanted magic myself a few millions and see what crazy antics i could cause but it seems the game runs different.
Anyone got advice / link / idk so i could stockpile myself all the water in the game and demand a kings fortune per glass?

it took me a bit but i figured out how to to change everything from char stats to money / industry levels and city populations. FYI a STR of 7000+ causes hilarious things to happen.

I'd also like to know how to use the cheat engine, all I've managed to find on google is the cheat engine forums, but didn't see any actual download for it.

not sure why you cant locate the download link. Try cheat engine download or look for the forums host website

Was hoping since you knew where to look you could post a link for those of us having trouble locating it but guess not. Only relevant result from google leads to the cheat engine forum, which is why I couldn't find it. Looked through the forum index, only download was for source code. Had to find a specific post with a link to an older to get to the site with the current version.

Since Cheat Engine can be confusing to people with little computer skills I decided it better for new people to search for it themselves. I don't know what country your from or if your internet provide makes searching for something difficult but I have zero problems finding the proper website with download links when i google cheat engine.

I'm very new to the cheat engine, I got the 6.0 edition because I saw someone on Youtube use it for Caravaneer 1. I decided to use it specifically for this game, and have been navigating it with some difficulty, but it's working out well. So far what I've gathered is that any numerical value in the game needs to be converted with the formula X*8+6 and then converted to hex value to reliably find the corresponding address or addresses. Once you've found the right address you need to modify the value with formula numbers only, anything else might crash the game or give you the wrong amount in game. Also, I haven't been able to search for amounts that aren't whole numbers, any in-game value that has a decimal I can't find.

Ive been using cheat engine for a few years mostly to speed up slow aspects of games, this game is extremely then other games. Most games you just search for the exact number and you find what your looking for in a few minutes while this game is very different. Sometimes decimal numbers just ignore the decimal (ex 103.17 is just 10317) other times you have to search for the decimal like normal.
Each game is a little different with how it runs its numbers and how it calculates things but I ended up making a guide to cheat engine with this game. The format didnt turn out like i wanted (all the pictures are links) but i walk you through how to change most things.
