The temple is the last level of the game. Indeed after finishing this level, you gained access to all worlds that you already visited, as well as to a level editor. However, the level editor has been broken for a long time (possibly even before the time the game was released on Steam).
As for a spaceship level, I don't recall any. So in short, I don't think you missed that much.
Thanks for the reply! I decided to replay the game to be able to experience the ending. Bought it because of a memory from my youth, so it was important for me to end it properly. Didn't see any spaceship level (I guess it was a mod), but the profile for "full access" is neat.
Depending on which build you are using, and your system... glitches abound. In my most recent build, I had no problem getting the ending to play through, but afterwards the sandbox broke my game and I lost the option to play the prologue (or any level) too. I haven’t re-installed yet, but when I do - I’m going to skip the sandbox for now. I don’t know how to fix what you have without losing your progress, but If you just want to play the “spaceship level”, try re-installing and look for the prologue after you start playing, it isn’t dependent on finishing.
