2. You'll need to unlock and build a Loom (via Farming skills) to make cloth.
3. Bugs you can donate to the Museum, make into fertilizer with the Compost Bin (via Farming skills), give to Noah, and/or sell for income.
4. You can sell the items for coins or use them in the Cauldron to make potions/enchanted items (via Magic skills you'll unlock more). I recommend using all of your magic each night to level it up since it'll replenish in the morning.
5. I'd recommend selling them or giving them as gifts to villagers.
There are a few player-created guides here on Steam as well if you get lost on any quests/puzzles, early game recommendations, etc.
