Newbie questions
Hi! Started my first play through a little while a go, and I have run into a few things I have questions about, if anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it! :)
1) What are some of the most reliable ways of getting money? I assume farming, I just got enough sprinklers (10 iron ones currently) to hopefully have a decent harvest in summer. Other than that I have been fishing when I need cash but it's kind of slow going. Are there other methods of money making that are easier/give more money that I am missing?
2) How do I get cloth? I have some animal wool from the recycling machine but I don't know how to turn it into cloth
3) What do I do with bugs? I donate the ones that say to do so, but do I need to hang on to them? Do the background colors on the icons indicate rarity?
4) Similar to 3, what do I do with monster drops? Are they used in future things and should be saved or can I just sell them?
5) Also the gems you get from mining, can I safely sell those too or do I need rubies or whatever else later on?
That's all I can think of right now, but I might come back with more questions later lol. Thank you in advance for any help!

1. Monster fighting tends to be the best bet since they drop items that can sell for a lot, but fishing and farming work as well.
2. You'll need to unlock and build a Loom (via Farming skills) to make cloth.
3. Bugs you can donate to the Museum, make into fertilizer with the Compost Bin (via Farming skills), give to Noah, and/or sell for income.
4. You can sell the items for coins or use them in the Cauldron to make potions/enchanted items (via Magic skills you'll unlock more). I recommend using all of your magic each night to level it up since it'll replenish in the morning.
5. I'd recommend selling them or giving them as gifts to villagers.

There are a few player-created guides here on Steam as well if you get lost on any quests/puzzles, early game recommendations, etc.
