Another tank shooter?

Hello, I don't want to trash talk your hard work but aren't there enough tank shooters out there? You will have a lot of competition like WoT (more arcade), Warthunder, Enlisted and many more I don't know of. How do you want to stand out of the crowd?

hello it's me again, excuse me but I also hope that there will be thunderstorms with rain and snow, to make everything as real as possible, it can affect the distance of the view and also slow down the movement of the tanks you also need wind and fog "mist", all these things are what can make the battles more challenging and beautiful just to look at, ok, I dream of a ww2 tank simulator at least 25 years, who knows if before I die I will finally be able to have one, worthy!!! you are great ahead and dream too!

Thanks for your suggestions. I can agree about rain, fog is also possible but now we are focused on Kursk campaign which took place in the summer, so you will need to wait for snow to come. Maybe in future campaigns? Who knows :)

Historically speaking, Operation Zitadelle was a complete disaster for the germans, Manstien and Gudarian and many others wanted the offensive canceled due to recon observations which indicated massive russian build up of defensive lines and many tank divisions waiting to counter attack.... if u read u read a book or 2 bout ww2 u know who messed this up from a german point of view...

Not to mention this offensive was launched way too late... it should of been spring....

This alone sets it apart from the "flooded" Wold War II market. Sure, games like Enlisted exist that have co-op, but its more of an unwanted afterthought (and one they actually punish you for playing with near zero progression making the only possible way to unlock content PvP) than an actual feature. Otherwise your options are basically boiled down to World of Tanks (with its very debatable ballistics) or War Thunder both of which are pretty darn predatory in both their matchmaking and their rewarding of whales, or the more elitist flooded venues like Post Scriptum or Hell Let Loose.

As for the arcade vs simulator debate, I hope it doesn't go too heavy on the simulator aspects (see IL-2 or your Silent Hunters where you supposedly command a crew, but still have to man all the stations yourself because your "crew" doesn't actually do anything). Personally I think the best option is to have the option to choose. Either by having both methods of play be available, or have one customizable mode where you can pick and choose which aspects you want to be more simulatory.

Agree Lestrad, dont forget Easy Red 2, it has workshop and altho i dont have 100's of hrs in it, its tank battles are fun and co-op able, it has steam workshop and there are many tank maps to add to the game,

I do not like WoT, im a war thunder fan, my sweet spot is german 5.3 battles, can be very op.

Play'd 1000's of hours in both, war thunder more realistic vs wot's hp system.

Can't wait for this game !!!

i also agree with you, but the difference in the armor of the tanks, the gun, the speed, the distance from here one can hit the opponent in a nutshell the real simulation of these factors are what makes a game fun and even more, not to mention the strategy of how to destroy a heavier tank, say, panzer 3 ,t34, tiger the ferdinand, kv1, basically each one had some characteristics that made them what they were. If you make them more or less all the same, I mean firepower, armor, etc etc... it gets boring!! I hope this is not the case, but, keep a certain seriousness on the various characteristics of the tanks at a simulation level, then a bit of pure gaming is welcome, however, in the game, in the preferences, the possibility of being able to activate or deactivate options could be made, so that the game is freer from the usual schemes. I honestly can't wait to get my hands on it! We hope that there are various types of explosions and I really, really hope that you can memeticize the tanks with many skins and that you can create them, like the game "IL2 Tank Crew". Kursk? 1943?
No German player with the slightest knowledge of the history of the Eastern Front will want to go anywhere near THAT campaign, LOL.

To be fair, a Soviet tank unit commander wouldn't, either, but that's true of just about all of WW2 for any particular Soviet tank unit, let alone crew(s).

yes!!! We hope this game goes well and in time come out the other campaigns france1940 poland1939-40 italy 43-45 etc. etc. real campaigns!!! It would be a dream!! hope it goes well ,we are with you!!!

Frankly I want this game to be more of a shooter than a simulator. Dry boring tank sims are dry and boring. I dont want to spend hours and hours learning how a real life tank works before I can start actually playing. "Simcade" tank games dont exist anymore, unless its an awful life-service crap like War Thunder. So whatever the developers are doing, keep it up, dont listen to armchair tank operators who just want "muh simulators".
