No rooms could be found - please remove region lock

Here's another thread on this issue cause I haven't seen any official response to it.

This is a pretty niche series, multiplayer matchmaking should do everything it can to accommodate that. Less than 500 players split up into dozens of separate regions with a server browser that doesn't show in-progress games means playing with random people is almost impossible.

100% agree, PC is a less lively platform compared to playstation/nintendo so the problem is even worse.
but the devs/published of this series never removed the locks so it will be easier said than done. i'd suggest annoying the devs on twitter or somewhere else.

Yea and when you filter them out you just get an empty list

I think a lot of them don't know they're locked. If you EVER make a private room any future public rooms you make will also be locked.

+1. A lot of the fun of EDF's is coming back every now and then to play with peeps, but it's next to impossible to get into a random PuG match atm without changing your Download Region constantly.

Through my Easy-Inferno runs, I'd say I played maybe 10% of those games with actual people. No one joins and now that I'm all done with the story, there are literally no unlocked games in my region at any time. Dividing the player base to an already niche game is an odd choice.

totally defeats the purpose of an edf game.

How many lobbies are in the console releases? Is it even worth buying on PC? I know for EDF 4.1 and 5 I played on PS4 and I was always able to find rooms without issues.

Same, i dont bother to search anymore. And honestly this is killing all the expectations i have in the game...

I tried the EDF discord server tonight and actually got a group of 4. Pretty fun ngl. Would be nice if the game itself let's me party up with dudes in an easier fashion.
