Has anyone else lost audio with the update on Game Pass today?

I started the game earlier today and it was fine, but after the update, I have no audio.

The version is 1.0.11.0

Update: As per replies below, reinstalling the game is a workaround. Verify and Repair doesn't fix it. Some people have mentioned losing their progress, so back up your save file before doing this.
Save file location is:
C:\Users\[YourUser]\AppData\Local\Packages
Unfortunately, it's not named Cocoon. Look for the folder starting with "AnnapurnaInteractive.UniverseProject"

losing sound after updating, but after uninstalling and reinstalling I've lost my progress now

I also have the sound bug on gamepass version. The sound worked but after some patch it stopped.

It won't if you are syncing your saves to the cloud. If your save hasn't synced to the cloud for whatever reason, it might.

Same issue still, except now the audio doesnt work even if I alt tab out. I am desperate to play this game so i am reinstalling everytime but....

Folks, we might have found a workaround that doesn't involve reinstalling the app. If you want to try, it's about replacing 1 problematic file.

1. Download the correct file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S1x5yrpQGxJvC7LVk9gkB1zdEI9KF60Y/
2. Replace the original file at the game folder with it. Typically at: "C:\XboxGames\Cocoon\Content\universe_Data\StreamingAssets\Desktop\Master Bank.strings.bank"

it seems that, for some unknown reason, the Xbox app update process scrambles the content of one of our audio files, causing this issue (which doesn't happen when you install from scratch).

Deleting the file and doing a repair worked for me. Thanks!

I just started playing for the first time on GamePass. I thought it was part of the game or my computer at first.

Reinstall worked. But I should have navigated to the end for the fix. I just started so I hadn’t saved yet so it’s no big deal.
