General Offensives & Front Width
I understand that general offensives will increase front width, but is it intentional that this can be done repeatedly?

Playing as the Germans, when defending against Soviet offensives, counterattacking or bombarding the attacking units can cause them to halt their offensive and the front reverts back to a stalemate. The subsequent turn, they restart a general offensive. This causes the front width to increase by 2 each turn, eventually making rail resupply impossible.

I've noticed this happening in AGN/AGC zones and also most notably at Stalingrad. The inability to resupply my defenders by rail (despite the city being a rail hub & additionally building the Chir bridge) seems bugged.

I understand that a certain increase in front width is expected but when it reaches double digits, it begins to get a little questionable. Is it possible to set a front width 'cap' for each engagement?

The front width is clearly a bug! (at least it has not been coded with that exploit in mind)
Thank you for reporting that issue.

"The inability to resupply my defenders by rail"-Stalingrad is not an East-West rail hub, that is certainly why.

Hey thanks for the reply! Really appreciate knowing that the issue is noted!

Rgding Stalingrad as (not) a rail hub - surprised to learn that is the case. To be clear I am referring to the (German) defensive operation after Stalingrad has been taken, one which gets a rail capacity bonus after the bridge has been constructed (Don-Volga isthmus I think?)

Also, If I remember well, the supply capacity can be lowered by partisan attacks and some kind of aerial attacks: check at the HQ if they are such attacks

@possible: the problem should be solved now
