It's good and worth it, it's kind of overhated and underrated game, because nobody asked and everyone wanted a new arkham game. Compare it to Suicide Squad and this one is like a masterpiece, for 80% off, go for it.

I've only just started and it looks good and performs alright. I picked Robin for the first mission, which was maybe a mistake, because I'm playing detective, looking for clues and it's a bit dull. I expected there be more action, but I guess it's a slow start.

Also, I quit the game and it's been in the process of "stopping" for 10+ minutes now, which I find a little annoying.

It's a good enough for the discounted price. But it's painfully slow to start. It starts off on the worst foot I don't know what they were thinking tbh

But it gets much better. I played mostly single player but Co op is fun too if you get someone who knows what they're doing

idk, i saw it was 12 dollars, asked a friend if he wanna play it and bought it...

It's really fun once you get into it but i find it difficult to play after Suicide Squad because the pace of that game is mental and coming back this feels too slow.

It is well worth it though and once you level up its really satisfying.

Only complaint is we never saw any story DLC. I would have loved that.

I'm 45. I didn't ask for Doom, Quake, Zelda, Civilization, StarCraft, WarCraft, Ultima, and the list goes on. None of us Gen-X gamers for them. And those are the games that became the foundation of the industry. Those games live forever and are forever loved.

What's with the younger gamer hard focus on things they asked for? Can someone explain this to me?

Thanks, that's what I thought.
I'm sure the game isnt the best one ever created but people usually over-hate games they probably do not even want to play in the first place.

The publisher would have to pay me to add this "game" to my steam collection.
Jeff Feb 22, 2024 @ 12:18am
You can't take people's opinions seriously. Especially not on Steam. A lot of people don't even have individual opinions, just a shared opinion with the popular consensus like they're part of some hivemind.

Just go watch some gameplay videos. A full playthrough or something, taking care to avoid spoilers. If you've been gaming for even a couple years you should know if it's for you.

I think it's worth it, especially while it's on sale. Check out some videos/gameplay, see if it catches your interest. If you haven't played a Batman game, I'd suggest playing through the Arkham series.

I got this game like, 2 days ago (on xbox) and am enjoying my time playing as Batgirl. Get the game because you want it and want to, not for any other reason.

Haha, I can agree to this. I have both and enjoy Gotham Knights more. It also offers more than SS does. With SS, you have to wait for content (seasons) while this game is the complete package. This game offers a ton of outfits (I got the deluxe edition, so got some sweet ones off the bat...)

With SS, you have an in-game store lol and no cosmetic loot drops.

Well, things change, and nothing is like it used to be. Taking a chance is harder nowadays, especially with the inflations, everything being super expensive just cause, gotta be smart and wise with what you spend your money on.

People still take chances so you can't assume everyone is the same. I want a ton of ♥♥♥♥ but I still haven't got it. I'm always taking chances.

They might live forever but the people who love them won't. Just because you love them doesn't mean every single person will/did. Just a lot of words being spilled here.

it's super fun. I played on xbox before and just got it and the dlc on steam.

It's not an Arkham game but still enjoyable.
