what exactly would you gain if they remove denuvo?
where "punishment"
2. fps, lol
@brimstone denuvo is well known for being a killer on performance
inb4 "it runs fine on my 4080" or some ♥♥♥♥
Cracking implies cracking - not releasing.
Anyway, Denuvo has next to zero impact on any game in terms of performance - as has been established many times.
Why people perpetuate this myth of Denuvo being a big deal (except as an effective anti-piracy DRM) - I can't say.
My guess is one of:
1. Ignorance
2. Conspiracy mindset
3. Wanting the game for free (I can sympathize)
That WAS the OP :)
Fair point :)
no, bad implementations of denuvo are well known for being a killer on performance... denuvo had absolutely 0 impact in this case, the performance was the exact same with and without denuvo.
denuvo does not guarantee bad performance, only bad implementations of it do. and in this case, it didn't impact performance. you hate something you know absolutely nothing about.
on top of that, from what i can tell you are family sharing and don't even own the game lmao
yeah and?
The rest of the points (of everyone): lol ok. Worst performing game I have, even on low. Which is the only game I've even considered putting on low because of the god awful performance
you don't actually own it
the awful performance has nothing to do with denuvo in this case, seriously, do your research
still with the ad hominem (or however it is spelled) eh? I'm playing a legit copy
You not owning the game however is an observation and one intended to point out that you don’t get to complain over something that “punishes owners” when you in fact do not own the game
So instead of evading my actual argument by hyperfocussing on an observation, how about you actually address the argument: denuvo does not cause performance issues, bad implementations of it do. This game in particular does not suffer from performance issues due to denuvo.
