I brought up Arkham Knight, because it was also launched on Steam with Denuvo, which was later removed and then Arkham Knight was published on GOG, so removal of this horrible performance-tanking DRM is not unheard of.
I want Gotham Knights to be released on GOG too.
This is what you really mean. Using Denuvo as a scapegoat for you not having a job is disgusting.
I also have over 2700 games on GOG, including everything WB has ever released there, so not only have I not pirated anything, I have bought it TWICE. https://www.gog.com/u/SargonAelther/games
You labelling GOG users as jobless pirates is what's disgusting.
Oh, by the way, Gotham Knights have already been cracked, so releasing on GOG DRM-Free is not gonna change anything at this point lol.
Selling on multiple platforms, including GOG, can increase a game's exposure and potential sales, as it allows the game to reach a wider audience of players with different platform preferences.
Why?, it doesn't hinder game performance unless you have a dinosaur computer, all these anti -Denuvo posts are dumb, it's in every game, theya re already selling the game on multiple platforms so why would they bother with GoG? ..they might once the gravy train of sales stops and the game goes into bargain bin status.
Especially as some people refuse to buy products with Denuvo, not because of the potential performance impact but because of the limits that are forced upon the customers, such as online requirements even in single player games, installation limits, encrypted executable and more.
There are quite a few articles from reputable sources, such as Ars Technika, stating performance improvements for games that had been cracked or had Denuvo officially patched out.
Gotham Knights is already available cracked, again widely available news, you don't have to go out of your way to find this information.
You can choose to dismiss these if you want, but this is nothing more than a pointless measure that works for a limited time at launch and then serves only to punish the paying customers. I have bought many other WB games that either never had Denuvo or after they've removed Denuvo, this case will be no different. I pay for what I want, not what I don't want.
I ask here, because SOMETIMES developers do respond on Steam. There's often no way to easily contact developers directly either. The only other option, really, is to submit a support ticket, but then it's a gamble whether the support person will bother passing the feedback on or not, after having closed the ticket.
Honestly idc much about denuvo either way, removed or not, it doesnt affect me really.
i do wish you luck on getting it removed tho, hopefully you ll have some luck and someone who cares enough to remove it reads this!
