Gotham Knights doesn't open anymore (Steam)

Just as the title says. I was playing my 100% completed game not too long ago and when I went to open the game today it says running on Steam for a bit the icon shows in the taskbar for 1 second then it exits and Steam is back to asking me if I want to play. The only difference I can think of is today I swapped out my GPU for a new one. Every other game is working fine it's just this one giving me a problem.

I'm literally having the same problem and I can't solve it... I'm already thinking about asking for a refund...

I uninstalled, reinstalled, verified, etc.. Nothing works. The game will not launch.

Asking for a refund.

Mocking people's technical issues doesn't help the devs, nor make Gotham Knights less of a dumpster fire, but by all means, keep white knighting.

Because the game has no any issue, it runs perfectly and works.
The problem is in yours bugymess PC

If you installed a new gpu make sure you use DDU to uninstall the driver even if both are AMD or Nvidia. Then install the driver fresh.

Because the game has no any issue, it runs perfectly and works.

I believe you meant to write "its runs perfectly and works FOR ME." Because it doesn't "run perfectly and works" for everyone.

And my "buggymess PC" is running the rest of my Steam library just fine, whereas this "buggymess game" has been a dumpster fire since it launched.

But by all means, keep whiteknighting for Gotham Knights, it's done wonders to raise its non-existent player count and "mixed" review scores.

Yeah same. I actually uninstalled. It was after that last big patch. Simply cannot make it work.

The only way that it didn't start for me was when I didn't have enough additional free space on disk, which is funny because game will not tell you that you don't have enough space, it will just not start or appears it's trying to start but then it closes immediatelly. I'm not exactly sure how much you need but it's roughly like 12 GB of free space or something like that.

EDIT: Had another problem with it again and just closing Steam entirely and starting it again helped.

So the same thing was happening with me, and nothing worked. I went through and randomly deleted files in the install and deleted SDL2.dll (located mercury>binaries>Win64). Then I verified the game files, it redownloaded the SDL2, I launched the game and it worked. Not sure if this is some fluke, but I would say try it.

Bro don't be a Shizzzhole. I started Downloading today and same it crashes in just 2 seconds. Something is wrong with it right now.
