She can hold her own in melee, has various abilities that make stealth viable, and she can glide around.
I would even go so far as to say that sometimes it feels like GK was originally intended to be a solo Batgirl game given how the game is put together and how her dialogue/scenes are.
To be honest. I think this game would have been VASTLY better had they picked a single character and stuck with them. Batgirl would be a decent choice and so would Robin. Either way. One character to focus on would have given them the opportunity for effective writing, a compelling character arc, and more focused plotlines.
The Bat-verse is easily DC’s most recognizable, popular, and profitable IP…but Batman needs to be included.
Despite how interesting and well developed the other characters are, I feel like time and again when something attempts to utilize the Bat-verse w/o Bruce…it ends up only getting limited appeal.
Gotham Knights is a good example of this, but you can also reference the Gotham and Batwoman television shows as well as if you to compare the success of Batman comics with the ones focusing on Batgirl, Batwoman, Red Hood, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Batwing.
As for the topic, yeah, probably Batgirl movement-wise, she can glide like batman and her stealth action is pretty similar, even tough, Robin can grapple the enemies and leavem them hang like in Arkham games.
