Am trying to escape the court of owl it then says hit gas valve to blow up tank.. cept my Batarangs wont go that far. Either heigh or aim is off - anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it?

I don't remember the specific part but are you sure you don't walk up to it and use the interact button to shut it off?

No she is on about the big gas tank with a valve each side, but there are 2 platforms to shoot from where she is, dont know if she has tried both ?

I think I know where you are, you're in the "dream" sequence right?
I also used Batgirl for that part, and it's definitely do-able. You may have to reposition yourself to get the angle you need.

Yeah you've done the dream sequence then you find out how they've been moving the floors around defeat some people then or talons if you fail the bonus task. But there's a big tank of gas the other side of the chasm but when I am on lower level or the higher level my X scan only registers 1 lever and my batarangs cant reach the other side or I aim get the circle or it and it shoots like 90 degrees of to the side like its the movie Wanted but even weird phsyics lol

You shoot at the left valve from your starting position then grapple to that side to shoot at the right side valve (if I'm remembering correctly). I had the same issue you are describing then realised I had to grapple to different side to hit the other valve.

yeah no matter what side it is they just don't reach but they definitely highlight when i aim at them its just like rolling nat 1 on dexterity and aiming forward but letting go like half way through. very odd.

I can't tell for sure if this is the problem but there is the regular, unaimed throw and then there is the precision long-range throw. They don't work the same way and I confused the buttons a lot myself. If you're using a controller like I did you can do the unaimed throw even while aiming the precision throw and it's not at all obvious what you're doing wrong.

I was having the exact same issue and never found a clear solution, but I figured it out. I was pressing the lower left button of the 4 buttons located at the front of the controller (Zl) and this will aim, but then when I shot the batarang wouldn't reach. My mistake was I was shooting by pressing "Y" (the top button of the 4 with letters) and it looked like I aimed but missed... the correct way of shooting with aim is use Zr (the lower right button of the 4 located in front). after pressing Zr instead of Y I was able to blow up the valves in 3 seconds as I'm sure you will too : ) Hope this still helps.
