Character level separate and have different crafting inventories but world stay at highest level?

Started playing as Batgirl and could get enough of her so I played only her for a long time.

Decided to switch to another character and found that there is no shared inventory as far as crafting components and the characters ability points must be earned separately. No big deal until I went out in the world with the new character. At level 1 as Red Hood I am now fighting enemies at level 10 or so a they beat the crap out of me.

That's got to be the dumbest leveling system I've seen.

How odd, they all remain the same level for me and while gear isn't shared all characters end up with level appropriate gear of the basic type to go out in.

Sounds like a bug. All characters get the same amount of skill points and stay the same level. You just have to spend the skill points when you switch characters if you haven't spent them yet.

You should also have the same crafting materials and mods. You also should have equivalent level gear when switching. It's not the same exact gear because they don't use the same gear but you should have something that is a near match to the level your other character was at.

Doesn't really matter, I hate so many things about this game. The combat is horrible. It's clunky, inconsistent, too hard to manage large groups, I miss the little incoming attack notification over my character head (so many blind side attacks just tear me up), no low health notification, no target lock. Enemies get to use their special abilities way too often. There's no rhythm at all, it's just always one chaotic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Of all of these the lack of a low health notification is the worst. I get a killing blow against me all the time without even realizing I'm that low one health. There just too much going on in fights to think about looking at that stupid bar in the corner.

Really no a lot of fun.

Well it kinda does, your spreading misinformation. There's nothing wrong with disliking the game and the issues you have are personal to you so that's fine, it's your opinion and your entitled to it. Your original post though was factually incorrect. Hope you find a game you do like.

except all of that is shared, just the equipment you craft isnt shared between characters

All of this just describes someone that sucks at the game. Lower the difficulty if you find it too hard.

Actually, there is a target lock. You need to press and hold the AR button, then move the crosshairs over an enemy to "mark" that enemy. I've never used this feature though as I've never needed it.

I think he means locking where your target snaps on to them so you don't even have to worry if you are attacking in the correct direction.

I really don't care anymore. The more I play this game the more I hate it. There's more crap than just the finicky combat. It crashes every so often, there often glitches in some side missions that cause them to fail. The traversal with grappling and gliding is less than stellar (mystic leap by Red Hood? Christ that is so ridiculous).

This game is disappointing in almost every category.

Still, if the damn game would have an audible of, preferably, visual notification that my health was low to remind me to heal I could certainly tolerate it much more.

I'll just go back and play the far superior Arkham games if I want my Batman fix.
