whats the point in Heroic gear? they are usless

The gear still works the exact same way as before. You are probably still on the early floors that drops gear that is underleveled for you. The level of the dropped gear goes up the lower you go.

The stats depends on what floor you find the item on. Lower level floors = lower level stats. Higher floors, higher stats = better gear

the orange gear is called Heroic, im not talking about gear you get in Heroic Assault lol

I find this odd too. On the mods page, Heroic mods are listed before Epic mods, but they're less powerful. Mods should be listed from most powerful to least powerful.

heroic gear is like the same as common gear not sure why they even have gear as heroic rarity, shoulda just be common, uncommon, rare, epic and legendary and thats it lol

Heroic Gear is just base gear awarded in the course of the story mode (except for Lucius' Beyond Suit) at the appropriate character level. It's just there so that players aren't hampered by unlucky drops during the course of the story. You really shouldn't bother with them unless you're doing the story and you don't have appropriate character level gear at that point.

Basically, everyone should be able to do the story mode (and villain side missions) regardless of what item drops they get as you will be given these (heroic) items to insure that.
