I disagree with you on a goodly number of points.
- If you do every little side-quest, gather every collectible, complete every time trial, and unlock every momentum ability... you're looking at 45+ hours of stuff to do with just your first play-through. There's plenty of content here.
- It was definitely NOT a mistake to have all characters level together. There is no need for creating pointless grind via independent level-ups, which would pretty much force most players into committing to a single character. There's already enough grind as is with the legendary equipment slog for four different characters.
- 4 player co-op would kill this game's performance. It already struggles with two.
- There's nothing wrong with a game that knows when to END. This game does not need to be a live-service. It clearly course corrected away from that at the 11th hour and I don't share your desire for it to double-back into the wasteland of failed games like Marvel's Avengers and Babylon's Fall.
I think the only thing I really agree with you on is that I'd like the transmog system to be more fleshed out. So many races, time trials, and challenges unlock colors for your armor... but you can't use the bloody things if you're using one of the transmogs. Kind of a risible waste.
Other than that, yeah. Night and day, haha. I wouldn't mind some single player story DLC, but that stuff is expensive and I doubt they could justify the cost. Add Damien Wayne and maybe some of the forested mainland above North Gotham, or Batwoman and a Bludhaven subzone. But, again... cost / benefit. Did this game sell well enough to justify it?
Raids and pointless grind for the sake of grinding, though? Get out of here with that live service nightmare fuel. :-P
I mean...it sucks bad yes, but criminal?? slow down karen lol...I agree we need some work to help customization but no need to go THAT far.
