How do the Nexus mods work ?

I downloaded another batgirl suit, did it in the same way as explained on Nexus, but how can i use this suit inside the game, please ?
i saw a video on YT which shows a menu where we can choose characters and outfits and so on. Maybe important : i just started the game with batgirl on the roof. Thanks for your replies.

There's a gear menu where you can choose a Transmog for your suit (basically making whatever you're wearing look like another suit style). I think the menu may not be unlocked right at the start of the game.

All you have to do is put the .pak file within the the Paks folder in the following game directory

Steam\steamapps\common\Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks

Yes, thank you, i did it that way, but probably these gear menu or Transmogg appears a little later inside the game - or what key do i have to press in order to reach it ?

Transmog and customization first appear after you return to the Belfry for the first time.

Seems so, that i'm to dumb for using the batgirl mod. I put the paks into the meantioned paks-file (tried it with calling the new folder "mods" or "~mods", but the computer-terminal inside the tower shows under mods just no mods. Any idea of what more i can do ?

The mods in the Batcomputer refers to modchips that you can install in your suits and weapons to boost their stats, they're not related to game mods that you get from Nexus. If a nexus mod adds a new suit, you'll probably find it under 'Styles' as one of the Transmog options. See this video for more about transmogs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrySxXcW-So.

So far i've seen, no. It simply does nothing ;-) I just wanted to change these silly yellow cape outfit against some adult one.
