Is new game + worth playing?

Im not usually a fan of new game +, once I beat a game, I beat it. And Gotham knights doesnt have much of a great gameplay loop or end game which will make me want to start new game +. Is it worth it? WIll I need to be lvl 40 for the upcoming 4 player multiplayer thing coming Nov 29? I just dont see a point in it right now other than increasing my lvl to 40

Ng+ is there for those who enjoy that sort of thing in games, if you are not fan of it, you shouldn't force it upon yourself.

didnt unlock my last ability before clicking NG+ and now the challenge to unlock it says i need to progress in the story... so i guess ill be done then

At least once is worth it, so you can get all the AP. Another reason is you can use it to get level 40 versions of the fox mods. Sure, you can farm fox missions for that as well, but that usually cost a good bit of nth. Also, Most Wanted run out eventually so your Nth supply dwindles. NG+ resets most wanted list so you can farm them again.

You are constantly getting new ones from the detective, yes. However, as far as I could tell, these are still finite. For example, I ran out of Most Wanted on Tuesday. Despite doing patrols every day after, I did not get any more Most Wanted nor did I see repeats in my Very Highs. Though, I was still able to farm in other peoples worlds.

I'm wondering how the Heroic Assault thing will work.. Will there be different matchmaking queues for NG and NG+? Will there be different rewards?

Most likely. NG ends at 30 and unable to progress. NG+ gets the player to 40, and maxed skill trees. The health/defense/crit/dmg etc outputs from 30 and 40 are VERY different.

The game is currently in an unplayable state. Yes, NG+ raises the level cap to 40 and in turn, drops better gear if you want to create gnarly builds.

Problem is, there is a game breaking bug preventing about 40% of the community from even getting the legendary drops. Yes you see the rare mobs spawn, yes you see the gear in the street, yes when you grab it, it shows on the left side like you got it BUT, when you open your inventory, it isn't there.

They are not addressing this at all and are about to drop a 4 player mode. I SAY, they should refund everyone.

The "Rare Mob" spawns only happen once. When you beat them, they are behind bars for good so whatever gear they dropped that you DIDN'T GET, is also gone for good.

avoid this game at all costs, they didn't test it......

Unplayable is hyperbole. Unpolished? Definitely. Unplayable is not being able to even play the game. Now, there is indeed an issue with drops that is quite annoying (farmed for quite a few pieces myself before going to NG+) but it is more of an annoyance.

I went to NG+ because after 30 and beating the story there wasn't much to do other than farm side quest/achievement/collectibles, after about 80 hours into the game, max level and legendaries almost on every toon I have only three achievements left to do so 97% completion rating.

Overall, the game is worth it, NG+ is worth it as the story isn't that long and you can skip most cut scenes anyways.

I think the new 4 player assault would work for both NG+ and regular, I can't imagine them making people replay the game or have to choose because I think once you go NG+ you lose your original save? Then again they have not said anything that I have found regarding this.

i imagine the difficulty for the 4 player mode will just increase the levels, health and strength of the enemies we will have to fight so It is probably just better to be safe than sorry to get to level 40 just in case.
