Just beat the game, 5/10 experience

Could've easily done without the self inserts. I don't want to hear "oh well it is supposed to reflect the world we live in today" ok where is Clayface? Where is Harley Quinn? Where is Mr. Freeze? Because they are not in the world we live in today. I don't want to hear "oh but it was in the comics", comics that came out a year ago that flopped and got cancelled. Superboy Self Insert comic, flopped and cancelled. Nuff said.

The performance issues were annoying, but didn't make the game unplayable. I played Nightwing the whole way thru and when I switched to Batgirl and I can't help but notice how much better her abilities are and how much better the variety in her skill trees are compared to Nightwing. Sexism and Self Inserts all in one package. If not sexism then it is clear bias and favoritism. They did Nightwing dirty as he usually is done nowadays. Just look at how he got treated in the Harley Quinn animated show.

I don't see myself touching New Game Plus, even for the extra ability points. My Nightwing's build doesn't need the extra points anyways. When the 4 player co op mode comes out at the end of the month I'll try it out then I'm moving on

There's a difference between socially progressive messaging, which was an inherent and integral part of X-Men since forever, and the nonsense being pushed out today. Having Iceman suddenly be gay after decades of womanizing isn't socially progressive. It's idiotic. That aside, the people buying movie tickets aren't also buying comics, so it's clear they're mostly separate audiences.

I think if you had played Robin and Batgirl, perhaps you would enjoyed more varied gameplay options.

Robin has a disproportionate amount of useful abilities.

I do wonder why the other characters didn’t get this same kind of attention.

Nightwing is combat centric. So agree, his broader abilities are limited…

Considering all the bugs and perfomance issues, I think 5/10 is pretty fair.

I'm playing Batgirl now and she is pretty good at getting crits, but her glide is trash. I hate her Heroic Time Trial missions. The devs should've gave her the super grapple gun to compensate for how slow her Glide is. Also, for some reason she isn't as good at building Momentum like Nightwing is. If the Legendary Contact missions weren't bugged I would probably be able to fix that Momentum problem with gear.

Sorry — I was meaning aside from the performance. The performance issues are unacceptable, agreed.

But besides these, I think the game is excellent.

I like Batgirls wing suit/ glide… what’s wrong with it?

Try Robin. He has a disproportionate amount of useful abilities.
