Bike freezing as riding?
Anyone else bike freeze solid as you are riding along like the game isn't loading fast enough to keep up? It doesn't crash it just freezes solid for a second as the terrain and game catches up?
I have never seen that till now.. so weird lol

Did you install to an SSD? Sounds like your drive is having trouble to keep up.

Yeah it is on an SSD. Samsung Qvo 860 1TB

I don't get this problem, but then again, my hard drives are the M2 slot thingys.

It has happened a few times, especially when crossing the bridges as I think it loads the entire new island into memory. I'm also on a very fast M.2 drive and it still does this sometimes but its fairly rare thankfully.

No freezes, but that's certainly where the biggest framedrops are. NVME aswell.

My brother set it up, my ssd at the time was on the slower end of the SSD spectrum, so we got two of those PCI Express type Storage sticks and my machine has loaded things ALOT faster ever since and i have never experienced the bike freezing like the other poster experienced.

Yeah I've had no freezes and nothing game stoppingly bad in terms of frame drops but when you're on the bike and to a lesser degree when you're using your traversal skill are the times when you can notice a definite fps drop. Not really a mystery though as both of those things is what would force your system to rapidly load the city, which is a huge strain so that's why you get fps drops during those things.

Riding the bike stresses the engine the most from what i've seen, especially if you are moving from a district to another. I highly recommend to not use the command line "nostreamingtexture" or something like that, it's being recommended for improving the performances but in my experience it made those transitions far worse that what we may experience already

I'm having the same problem but it never happened till a few nights ago after 24+ hours of playtime. Now it has even more performance issues for me and freezes constantly. I have no idea why it started or how to fix it. Every other game runs perfect on my pc so I know it's only a gotham knights issue. Really just sucks because my game is unplayable with how bad it is. I want to play and play multiplayer with my friends now that they bought it but I can't even play the game with how bad it is.

Also just for those wondering I've reinstalled the game 4 times now and verified the integrity of the game files but it said everything was fine.
