Disappointed that Catwoman isn't in this game

One of my favorite characters isn't present here.
A shame, but I hope she'll get the chance in a future DLC.
What are your thoughts?

They probably wanted to avoid the prime Batman villains as hes dead. They wanted others to fight his kids.

Catwomen wasn't really a villain, well at least she wasn't in the Arkham games. She always seem to be an ally to Batman. Yes she went around stealing things but she wasn't a hardcore villain. She seem to help Batman when people's lives were at stake. So she wasn't a ruthless stone killer like the Joker.

Unless they make her out to be a villain in this universe. It make me wonder what side she would be in this universe. Will she be a villain or just your typical cat thief?

She originally was a villain, she became a love interest later.

She's for long been quite a grey charachter morally. But I don't mind her not being in the game, as the game so far isn't really that great sadly

Her easter egg in the game was a cool thing (just checked a video from YT), but I would really love to see her in a DLC. Of course other DLCs with more returning characters too.

Nope, she was never a villain, as someone who's been into comics since the 70s. She was somewhere in between hero and villain.

Isn't Catwoman considered to be a anti-hero instead of a villain? That's the closest definition, I guess.
